Chion-in is the Monastery of Gratitude in Kyoto, Japan. The temple, built in 1234 boasts one of the largest wooden gates in all of Japan. The giant bell on the temple grounds weighs 70 tonnes!
These books open into a box which can be used to keep papers, trinkets, coasters, any sort of nick nacks. A conversation piece, a timeless accessory.
